About

I’m a parliamentary politics and procedure nerd. There, I said it. It’s the kind of thing I get strange looks about when I tell people, but apparently there are a few of us out there! Who knew?

I blog chiefly about the UK parliament because it’s the one I’m most familiar with, but I’ll take forays out into foreign parts every so often to compare and contrast and delve a little into the history of it all.

I firmly believe that the way we make decisions is the most important decision we make. If we empower our representatives to properly scrutinise government and make informed decisions on legislation then we’re more likely to get good policy. If we don’t, then we’re more likely to get bad ones.

The intention is that this will be less about the politics and more about the chambers it happens in.
